Overview

This Moroccan cooking class in Marrakech starts in the market. With your cook you buy vegetables, herbs and spices at the stalls and learn what goes into the dishes of the day. Back in the kitchen of a riad or a family home, you cook a full meal step by step: a salad such as zaalouk, a chicken or vegetable tagine, and bread baked the traditional way.

While the tagine simmers you prepare mint tea and hear how meals are organised in a Moroccan home. The class ends at the table, where you eat what you cooked, and you leave with the recipes. Tell us about allergies and diets when you book. To taste more dishes than you can cook in a morning, try the Street Food Tour.
