Chez Ali is the best-known fantasia dinner show in Marrakech, held every evening on a large site in the Palmeraie. As you arrive, folk groups from different regions of Morocco play in the alleys leading to the dining tents, where a set Moroccan dinner is served while musicians and dancers go from table to table.
After dinner the audience moves to the arena for the fantasia: horse-riders in traditional dress charge in a line and fire their rifles together, followed by more acts on horseback and a final show. The car ride to the Palmeraie and back is included. For a quieter evening in the desert, see the Agafay Desert Dinner.
